Description
Role purpose: Support and Operate within the IP Networks Security domain for Vodacom Mozambique with focus on Security
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Implementation, Support and Management of all IP Networks Security infrastructure on the Core Network;
• Perform Recurring Security Assessments and Implement Corrections and Remediation;
• Conduct testing, implementation and integration of new systems, patches, codes, operating system versions;
• Proactive involvement in all team projects with a perspective and focus on Security;
• Proactively monitor, manage, optimize and enhance overall Security footprint on the IP Network domain;
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• Network Security Equipment configuration, operations and maintenance;
• Eagerness to contribute to the success of Vodacom Mozambique;
• Good interpersonal skills (teamwork FIRST)
• Willingness to learn and desire to be a role model for other peers in the future;
Must have technical / professional qualifications
• Relevant degrees, diplomas or experience in IP Networks Security and/or IT Security;
• Availability to work at any time;
