Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure Vulcan’s inventory management and planning activities in its location, through team coordination;
Ensure the management of cost and investment budgets for its location, as well as manage their execution and develop operational improvement projects;
Ensure the development of new inventory management models, defining inventory parameters (SLAs with user areas), for each of the essential activity items, to optimize and reduce the value of physical inventory in the locations under its responsibility;
Optimize working capital by defining, together with the purchasing areas, the best way to manage inventory (advanced stocks, consignments, etc.), for the organization of inventory under its responsibility;
Ensure the inventory optimization process, together with the user areas (e.g. maintenance), in order to minimize immobilized capital, through the continuous search for inventory reduction and planning of the needs of the user areas so as not to compromise their operational performance;
Ensure that the service levels contracted with the user areas are met, as well as manage the area’s performance indicators;
Manage service contracts or third-party contracts under the Warehouse’s responsibility;
Manage information and monitor human resources in the area, such as timekeeping and attendance, operational training, training matrix control, PPE and uniform control, etc.;
Perform activities to ensure compliance with internal audits of operational processes, quality, environment and health & safety;
Perform control and management of assets, as well as the Disposable Materials Center;
Monitor and generate performance indicators for the area (service, receipt, accuracy, among others), ensuring that the service levels established as targets or contracted with the user areas are met.
Educational Qualification & Experience
Academic Background: Higher Education in Business Administration, Economics; Accounting and Auditing, Engineering, Logistics or similar
