We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Specialist to join our team in the heavy industry sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and for promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Safety Audits: Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on HSE performance, incidents, and compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSE practices and implement solutions to enhance safety and environmental performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the heavy industry sector.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
